How one brand’s recruitment revamp drove record engagement

The twin pressures of Brexit and Covid meant last year there were at least 165,000 vacancies across the social care sector, a number which is only increasing. Indeed, one in 10 social care roles are unfilled and one in three care workers leave their jobs each year.
Faced with an industry-wide staffing crisis and its own employees out of action self-isolating, care home provider Anchor decided in April 2020 it needed a major recruitment drive and turned to the marketing team.
