Salary Survey 2023: Marketing’s influence is up but CMOs agree ‘the job isn’t done’
The majority of marketers feel confident in their ability to influence change, according to our 2023 Career and Salary Survey. But there is still a gap between B2B and B2C when it comes to businesses understanding of marketing’s role.
Despite the economic turbulence of the past year and resulting pressure on marketers, the majority remain positive in their ability to influence change.
This year’s Marketing Week Career and Salary Survey shows 58.2% of marketers feel confident when it comes to instigating change, with 16.9% strongly agreeing with the sentiment.
