UKTV’s Simon Michaelides on the benefits of resisting a ‘conventional career path’
From the Eureka moment 10 years ago that persuaded him to become “function agnostic” to the search for substance over superficial success, the outgoing UKTV marketing boss reflects on his lessons from 25 years in marketing.
“One of the things I regret the most about my career path is not having taken more control of it myself earlier on, because I might have seized the squiggly career path even earlier in my career if I’d actually stopped to think about it,” says outgoing UKTV chief marketing and innovation officer, Simon Michaelides.
